Job summary

Sysco Ireland, the island's largest foodservice provider, seeks a Head of Operations Systems to lead strategic initiatives across inventory, warehouse systems, and network modernisation. You will manage a team of ~35, drive change, and align operational plans with Sysco’s growth strategy.

The role requires 10+ years of relevant experience, a degree, and a proven track record of leading high-performance teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in relevant areas.
• Trade or Degree qualified in relevant areas.
• Lives and breathes Customer First approach.
• Extremely organised and comfortable operating in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to influence across a wide range of stakeholders.
• Proven ability to motivate and develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for national inventory, warehouse systems optimisation, operations & supply chain projects across Sysco Ireland.
• Oversee national inventory, warehouse system planning, loss prevention, and OPS/SC project functions (circa 35 colleagues).
• Manage a portfolio of business-critical change projects across departments.
• Maintain financial governance within budget and drive efficiencies.
• Lead and mentor teams, set strategic direction, and align contributions to goals.
• Establish succession plans and development frameworks.
• Facilitate two-way communication across teams.
• Define and implement KPIs to monitor performance.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes.
