Job summary

CREGG in Sligo is seeking a Head of Operations to shape and deliver the operational strategy across Ireland and UK manufacturing facilities. The role involves leading projects, design, engineering, manufacturing, installation and commissioning, with a hands-on approach and a focus on performance improvements.

Travel to the UK every 6 weeks is required. You will work closely with the MD and senior leadership to strengthen processes, governance and KPIs, delivering significant impact on growth and

Qualifications

• Significant senior operations or manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience within engineering, manufacturing or project-led environments.
• Multi-site operational experience, ideally across the UK and/or Ireland.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• A proven track record of delivering operational and performance improvements.
• Experience managing complex, multidisciplinary operations.
• Strong knowledge of KPIs, operational controls and governance.
• The ability to influence and work effectively with senior stakeholders.
• A strategic mindset combined with a practical, hands-on approach.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

This is an opportunity for an experienced operational leader to have significant influence across the business, strengthening performance and building the people, processes and systems required to support future growth.

Experience working across design, engineering, project delivery, manufacturing, installation and commissioning, together with Lean, Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodologies, would be advantageous.
