A leading manufacturer of special purpose machinery is actively seeking an experienced Head of Operations to join their Senior Leadership Team. For the right individual, we could consider appointing as Operations Director.
This is an exciting time to be joining them as they are continuing to expand their core product ranges, integrating technological developments, and expanding into new markets.
The Head of Operations will be responsible for shaping and delivering the operational strategy across the company’s manufacturing facilities in Ireland and the UK.
This business-critical role will influence the future direction of the company, drive standardisation and scalability across all operational functions.
You will work closely with the MD, other members of the SLT, and Heads of departments (Projects, Design, Manufacturing, Installation & Commissioning, Service) on alignment, accountability, and best practices.
There is the expectation that the successful individual will progress into an Operations Director role in the future within the business.
Applications are invited from Operations Managers, Heads of Operations, as well as Operations Directors of smaller businesses who have experience of working across multiple manufacturing sites.
Previous experience of working for a manufacturer of technical products or machinery used within regulated sectors such as pharmaceutical, food, beverage, or FMCG industries would be beneficial but not essential.
You will need to be able to spend up to a week at a time in the UK on a regular basis.
