Job summary

Berkley Group is seeking an experienced IT leader to translate strategic objectives into operational efficiencies and drive a modern digital culture. The role oversees cyber resilience, governance, and vendor relationships while managing a dedicated IT team in a complex, regulated environment.

Responsibilities include leading the ICT roadmap, advising senior teams on capabilities and risks, and ensuring compliant, secure IT operations with strong governance and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Level 8 degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience leading ICT teams or technology functions in complex or regulated environments.
• Industry certifications in networking, systems management, or enterprise technology.
• Management/leadership training certifications and understanding of critical infrastructure regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, execution, and alignment of the enterprise ICT and digital roadmap.
• Provide guidance to senior executives on capabilities, risks, and digital opportunities.
• Direct and line-manage the internal IT team with oversight and autonomy to drive innovation.
• Manage service delivery schedules, performance metrics, and departmental budgets.
• Act as technical lead on cross-department projects, system upgrades, and digital transitions.
• Implement structured change-management practices for user adoption of new technologies.
• Establish SOPs and keep technical documentation up to date.
