Job summary

Mediolanum International Funds Limited is seeking an experienced investment analytics leader to head the Investment Analytics and Reporting team in Dublin. You will oversee governance, performance measurement, attribution, and risk reporting across portfolios and benchmarks while mentoring a high-performing team.

You will interact with senior stakeholders, translate complex data into actionable insights, and shape analytics capabilities for enhanced portfolio positioning and oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related discipline; CFA charter holder or progress towards CFA is advantageous.
• 7+ years’ experience providing portfolio analysis & support to front office Investment teams, preferably at an asset manager.
• Proven experience managing and developing a high-performing team.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets and portfolio construction.
• Experience with asset allocation, performance measurement & attribution and risk analysis.
• Knowledge of equities, fixed income and mutual fund investments.
• Understanding of Solvency II, UCITS & MIFID.
• Experience with FactSet, Bloomberg PORT, Style Research, Morningstar, MSCI risk analytics, or Taciem Fusion Invest.
• Knowledge of SQL or BI tools such as Power BI, Cognos or Qlik; proficiency in Python or R.

Employment Type PermanentLocationRole Profile We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Investment professional to join the Investment Analytics team as Head of Investment Analytics and Reporting at Mediolanum.The Investment Analytics team has grown significantly in recent years and is responsible for producing performance and portfolio-positioning data across the fund range, as well as sourcing the inputs required to support this work. Building on the team’s success to date, the Head of Investment Analytics and Reporting will lead and mentor the team, enabling them to deliver high-quality oversight and portfolio analysis to a diverse range of stakeholders.The successful candidate will bring experience in portfolio management or portfolio construction and will be responsible for coordinating multiple workstreams across the team to ensure key milestones are achieved. You will understand the needs of a diverse range of stakeholders and translate them into clear, actionable deliverables.
