nineDots.io in Dublin is seeking a Head of Engineering to lead the first engineering team, own the function, and shape the technical direction as the business scales.

This hands-on, player-coach role requires leading by example, mentoring engineers, and driving architectural decisions while staying involved in code when appropriate. The stack includes Go, TypeScript, React, Kubernetes/GKE, PostgreSQL, Redis and Kafka, with a strong AI-native focus using Claude Code.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, player-coach who owns the engineering function.
• Ability to design and review architecture and unblock engineers.
