Job summary

nineDots.io in Dublin is seeking a Founding Engineer to own meaningful areas of the product from end to end, from problem discovery to production and iteration. You’ll build AI-assisted and self-service configuration, reporting experiences, and extend integrations with ad tech partners.

As a senior IC, you’ll work directly with the founder, shape architecture and engineering culture, and have autonomy over design and delivery while staying hands-on and focused on high-throughput, low-latency

Qualifications

• Track record shipping production software.
• Own problems from scope to delivery.
• Reason about feature impact on users.
• Start from incomplete specs and drive design.
• Make technical decisions and justify them.
• Understand high-throughput, low-latency systems.
• Experience with AI coding tools and workflows.
• Hands-on contributor with influence over direction.

Responsibilities

• Own features from idea through to production and ongoing iteration.
• Turn product direction into reliable software used by real customers.
• Develop the platform’s configuration, reporting and self-service experiences.
• Build AI-assisted workflows that simplify technically complex processes.
• Extend integrations with advertising demand and supply partners.
• Work directly with customers and publishers on product and integration challenges.
• Contribute to architecture and wider technical decisions.
• Help establish engineering standards and culture as the Dublin team grows.
