Job summary

Payward Europe Solutions Ltd (PESL) seeks a Head of Compliance to lead the EU/EEA regulatory framework, including CASP license, AMLR, and MiCA. You will report to the CEO with board accountability and manage a small team to build a scalable, risk-based program.

The ideal candidate is a systems thinker with senior crypto/compliance experience, a track record of automating regulatory processes, strong regulator relations, and the ability to influence executives to grow the business compliantly.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior compliance experience in regulated crypto or payments.
• Proven ability to leverage automation to scale compliance.
• Experience with EU markets rules including MiCA/AML regimes.
• Strong regulator engagement and board-facing skills.
• Strategic thinker with systems approach and AI tech use.

Responsibilities

• Oversee PESL's ongoing regulatory compliance framework including CASP license.
• Develop and maintain relationships with the Central Bank of Ireland.
• Lead implementation of new regulatory requirements and horizon scanning.
• Collaborate with CCO, CEO and teams to align products with risk management.
• Prepare license extension documents and regulatory reporting.
• Deliver compliance training and foster awareness across the organization.
