Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised professional Chef qualification.
• Proven experience as Head Chef and kitchen leadership.
• Strong HACCP and food safety knowledge.
• Experience with menu planning, costing and stock control.
• Excellent organisation, communication and leadership skills.
• Legal entitlement to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality and service.
• Lead, supervise and support kitchen staff.
• Plan and prepare nutritious menus for residents.
• Oversee modified-texture meals, diets and allergens.
• Manage food ordering, stock, portions and costs.
• Maintain HACCP, hygiene and safety compliance.
• Keep food safety documentation and temperature records.
• Collaborate with nursing and management to support residents’ needs.
