Job summary

Tolka Valley Nursing Home is opening soon and seeks an experienced Catering Supervisor / Head Chef to lead our kitchen from day one, delivering nutritious, freshly prepared meals and a dining experience aligned with each resident’s preferences.

You will oversee daily kitchen operations, develop menus, uphold HACCP standards, manage orders and budgets, and ensure safe, compliant service in a caring, resident-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Head Chef, Catering Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
• Experience in healthcare, nursing home or institutional catering is desirable.
• Good organisational, leadership and communication skills.
• Understanding of nutrition, modified diets and the needs of older people.
• A genuine passion for preparing quality food and making a difference to residents' daily lives.

Responsibilities
