Job summary

Broadline Group are recruiting Healthcare Chefs to work in Limerick and across Munster (Cork, Clare, Kerry, Tipperary and Waterford) in hospitals, nursing homes and high-volume catering.

Ideal candidates hold QQI Level 6 Professional Cookery (or equivalent) and have at least one year of relevant healthcare experience; excellent English; three references; and a valid work permit. We offer competitive pay (€20.88/hr) and ongoing opportunities in HSE units across the region.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in hospital, nursing home, or high-volume catering environment within the last five years.
• QQI Level 6 Professional Cookery qualification (or equivalent recognised qualification).
• Excellent English both written and verbal with the ability to adapt to healthcare catering environments.
• Minimum of three working references covering five years of employment history.
• Candidates must hold a valid work permit to work in Ireland with no restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook nutritious, high-quality meals in line with healthcare dietary requirements.
• Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene, HACCP and kitchen safety.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is operated and maintained safely in accordance with Health & Safety guidelines.
• Assist with menu planning, food preparation, stock control and food presentation.
• Work effectively as part of the catering team while delivering an excellent service to patients, residents and staff.

Healthcare Chef

Broadline Group are looking for Healthcare Chefs throughout Limerick, Cork, Clare, Kerry, Tipperary and Waterford location.

Suitable Chef must hold a Professional Cookery qualification at QQI Level 6 (or equivalent) and have at least one year’s relevant experience in a hospital, nursing home or high-volume catering environment. We have ongoing Chef positions in HSE units including some of the largest Healthcare settings, Hospitals and Nursing Homes throughout Munster.
