Job summary

The Q Cafe Company in Tralee is seeking a Chef Manager to lead a brand new Healthcare unit and ensure smooth kitchen operations with high standards.

You will supervise kitchen and service staff, plan menus, manage budgets, and uphold HACCP and health and safety rules in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Garda Vetting is a requirement for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience as a chef in a supervisory/management role.
• In-depth knowledge of different cooking techniques, ingredients, and cuisines.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Previous experience in a Healthcare environment an advantage but not essential.

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic & capable Chef Manager for a brand new Healthcare unit in Tralee, working five over seven days.

Your primary goal will be to ensure the smooth operation of the Kitchen and maintain high standards of food preparation and service.

Can you?

• Prepare and cook food to the highest standard.
