Job summary

Veolia Ireland is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Leixlip, Co. Kildare to oversee the shipping of hazardous waste from the Intel site to approved treatment facilities across Ireland and Europe.

You will manage documentation, customs clearances, scheduling, and coordination with Veolia subcontractors while maintaining accurate data across Veolia IT systems. The role demands strong IT skills, organisational ability, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• IT skills: high level computing proficiency.
• Strong organisational and logistical coordination abilities.
• Working knowledge of Trans Frontier Shipment (TFS) paperwork.
• Practical knowledge of Waste Transfer Form (WTF) paperwork.
• Attention to detail, ability to manage competing priorities independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify shipment documentation (DG Notes, TFS forms, WTFs).
• Process customs clearance for UK-bound shipments from site.
• Book and coordinate waste transport with Veolia subcontractors.
• Schedule waste streams into treatment/disposal facilities in Europe.
• Coordinate loading schedules and collection times with Site Logistics Manager.
• Issue weekly tanker forecasts to maintain site logistics capacity.
• Input and maintain operational data across Veolia IT systems.
• Track and renew TFS applications across waste streams.
• Provide operational cover during staff shortages.
