Apleona UK is seeking a full-time Handy Person/Caretaker to join our team in Dublin 3. The role covers security, property maintenance and daily facility tasks, with Monday-Sunday shifts.

Responsibilities include securing premises, managing keys, operating alarm systems, maintaining heating and lighting, coordinating deliveries and preparing spaces for events, while ensuring safety and compliance. Garda vetting is required.

Qualifications

• General Health and Safety knowledge
• Experience in a Caretaking/ Cleaning role
• Good English level for communications (verbal/written)
• Maintenance/DIY skills advantageous
• Garda vetting is required for this role

Responsabilités

• Secure the premises, manage keys, and operate security and fire alarm systems.
• Report any security breaches or suspicious activity.
• Attend to after-hours security incidents and ensure the premises are safe.
• Operate and maintain heating and lighting systems efficiently.
• Inspect and report defects in fire-fighting equipment.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of indoor and outdoor areas.
• Ensure pathways are clear of snow and ice.
• Replenish hygiene supplies and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Receive and transport deliveries, including furniture and supplies.
• Prepare rooms for events and general use.
• Oversee contractor work and report deviations.
• Maintain records of supplies and equipment.
• Perform minor repairs and support facility-related tasks.
