Job summary

Ft Workforce is seeking an experienced Working Foreman with a strong carpentry background to join our Dublin area projects. The role is hands-on, leading a site team and coordinating day-to-day construction activities while upholding quality and safety standards.

You will read drawings, manage trades, ensure schedules, and liaise with management and subcontractors. This long-term role offers competitive rates and Dublin-based projects within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Working Foreman / Site Foreman.
• Strong carpentry background.
• Good knowledge of construction methods and site procedures.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full understanding of health & safety requirements.
• Relevant qualifications and Safe Pass required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate trades and site teams.
• Carry out hands-on carpentry work when required.
• Organise daily site activities and keep projects on schedule.
• Read and work from drawings and specifications.
• Ensure work is completed to a high standard.
• Liaise with management, subcontractors and other trades.
• Maintain strong health & safety standards on site.
