Job summary

Primtac Personnel is recruiting an experienced Site Manager with a strong carpentry background for a growing fit-out contractor. The role is hands-on, overseeing carpenters and trades on Dublin-based fit-out and commercial refurbishment projects, with a company vehicle provided and permanent employment.

You will manage day-to-day site activities, read drawings, coordinate carpentry works, ensure safety and quality, and liaise with contractors and clients to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• Strong carpentry background with site supervisory experience.
• Experience in fit-out or commercial refurbishment.
• Experience managing small teams.
• Good knowledge of health & safety on construction sites.
• Ability to read drawings and understand construction plans.
• Full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site activities and keep projects on schedule
• Supervise carpenters, tradespeople and labourers
• Read drawings and coordinate carpentry and fit-out works
• Carry out hands-on carpentry work when required
• Allocate tasks and monitor quality of work
• Ensure sites are safe, tidy and well organised
• Liaise with contractors, trades and clients on site
• Help resolve any issues that arise during the project
