Job summary

Morgan McKinley is partnered with a Co. Meath SME to recruit an experienced Warehouse Manager who will oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure accurate stock, timely picking and dispatch. The role balances hands-on leadership on the floor with driving continuous improvements.

The successful candidate will lead by example, develop the warehouse team and collaborate with sales, customer service and transport to optimise workflow and service levels.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Warehouse Manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing operations, inventory control, goods-in and dispatch.
• Experience supervising warehouse staff.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Practical, hands-on management style and leadership by example.
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills.
• Focus on health and safety, accuracy and customer service.
• Experience in SME environment advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations for efficiency.
• Lead and motivate warehouse staff with clear direction.
• Coordinate goods-in, goods-out, order picking, packing, dispatch.
• Maintain inventory records and perform stock checks.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and delivery issues.
• Ensure timely order processing and dispatch.
• Manage warehouse space and stock rotation.
• Implement health and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, purchasing and transport.
• Develop warehouse procedures and improve structure.
• Provide hands-on operational support when needed.
