Job summary

ICE Group is seeking an IT Manager for a six-month contract at our Shannon, Co. Clare site.

This hands-on leadership role focuses on operational IT management, service continuity, and close collaboration with the ERP programme and external partners to keep systems stable and responsive to business needs. You will lead the local IT team, oversee incidents and escalations, coordinate with suppliers, balance priorities, and ensure secure, reliable technology environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT operations, infrastructure or service delivery.
• Experience leading or supervising an IT team.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and develop the local IT team.
• Provide day-to-day direction, prioritisation and workload management.
• Build relationships across the business and act as operational contact for IT matters.
• Oversee incident management, problem resolution and escalations.
• Coordinate activities with internal resources and third‑party suppliers.
• Support ERP programme planning and wider business initiatives.
