Job summary

Aura Holohan Group in Lucan, Ireland is seeking a qualified Level 1 Gymnastic Coach on a part-time basis to join Aura Lucan. You will deliver engaging recreational gymnastics sessions in a safe, fun and progressive environment, supervising classes and supporting athletes of various ages and abilities.

The role requires a proven coaching background, strong communication, and a positive, energetic approach. You must be available evenings and weekends, be fluent in English, and align with Aura's

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 1 coaching award from a recognised awarding body.
• Minimum 1 year of supervised gymnastics coaching experience.
• Fluent English is required.
• Positive attitude and passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging recreational gymnastics sessions for different ages and abilities.
• Supervise the class at all times and ensure equipment is used safely.
• Provide constructive feedback to help athletes improve their skills.
• Work with fellow coaches to ensure consistency and enjoyment across sessions.
• Maintain high standards of organisation, cleanliness, and safety.

Job description

We are looking for a qualified Level 1 Gymnastic Coach on a Part Time basis to join our team at Aura Lucan.

We are looking to for an enthusiastic Participation Based Gymnastics Coach to provide coaching in a safe, fun and progressive gymnastics environment.

The role is ideal for a resourceful and experienced gymnastics coach, with a proven coaching background who takes pride in their work, likes to lead by example.

Your mission:

• Plan and deliver engaging recreational gymnastics sessions for different ages and ability levels
• Supervise the class at all times and make sure equipment is used safely
• Provide constructive feedback and support to help athletes improve their skills
• Work collaboratively with fellow coaches to ensure consistency and enjoyment across all sessions
• Demonstrate excellent organisational and planning skills
• Maintain a positive and encouraging atmosphere
• Maintain a high service environment through appearance and attitude
• Ensure the very highest operational standards are upheld with regards to cleanliness, facilities, staff, safety and service at all times
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times

Here's what we need from you:

• Gym Start Level 1 or discipline specific level 1 coaching award from a recognised awarding body
• Proven record of supervised gymnastics coaching to a satisfactory standard (minimum of 1 year)
• Strong understanding of gymnastics techniques, progressions and safety practice
• A positive attitude and a genuine passion for working with children and fostering a positive learning atmosphere
• Be a role model for young athletes, demonstrating professionalism, enthusiasm and a commitment to continuous improvement
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work within a team
• Flexible in relation to working requirements, hours/days of work - available to work evenings and weekends to meet the needs of the business
• Due to the nature of this role fluent English is required

The basic rates of pay for the role are:

€ 14.30 per hour Monday to Saturday

€ 16.02 per hour Sunday

Fitness class rates (based on qualification and teaching experience):

€ 15.80/ € 16.53 per hour
