Job summary

Aura is seeking a qualified Fitness Instructor on a part-time basis to join our team at DKIT Sport in Dundalk, Ireland. You’ll design results-driven fitness programs, lead group classes and maintain high safety standards.

The role requires an EQF Level 3 or RQF Level 2 certificate, a Group Fitness or Exercise to Music qualification, fluent English, and a flexible schedule. Previous experience is desirable, and you’ll benefit from employee perks and a training academy.

Qualifications

• EQF Level 3 or RQF Level 2 Fitness Instructor certificate or equivalent.
• Group Fitness or Exercise to Music certificate.
• Positive attitude and genuine passion for helping people get fitter and healthier.
• Fluent English required.

Responsibilities

• Meet, greet, assess and design results-driven fitness programs for our members.
• Engage with members to ensure retention targets are met.
• Coach, teach and inspire a positive outlook on fitness.
• Deliver our fitness programs and group classes to high standards.
• Carry out administrative tasks and keep gym areas clean and safe.

Here’s what we need from you:

• An EQF Level 3 or RQF Level 2 Fitness instructor certificate, or equivalent
• A Group Fitness or Exercise to Music certificate
• A positive attitude and a genuine passion for helping people to become fitter and healthier
• A passion for instructing people how to learn and understand fitness related training
• Previous experience working as a Fitness Instructor is desirable
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work within a team
• Flexible in relation to your hours/days of work
• Due to the nature of this role fluent English is required

The basic rates of pay for the role are:

€14.30 per hour Monday to Saturday

€16.02 per hour Sunday
