Job summary

Catalyx is seeking a Lab IT Systems Specialist to join our team on site in Cork. You will manage laboratory IT infrastructure within a GMP framework, ensuring security, compliance and reliability of systems used in manufacturing and analytics.

Role involves collaboration with Laboratory Operations, Quality, Engineering and IT to support validated software, servers and instruments, while facilitating lifecycle management and change controls.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience supporting IT systems in regulated environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and IT infrastructure skills in GMP contexts.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of lab IT systems.
• Provide technical support for laboratory instruments and connected IT systems.
• Manage server, workstation and OS activities in GMP lab environments.
• Investigate and resolve system, software, connectivity and performance issues.
• Participate in change control, deviations, CAPAs and periodic reviews.
• Ensure systems remain compliant with GxP, Data Integrity and regulatory requirements.
• Author, review and execute validation documentation (IQ/OQ/PQ) where required.
• Maintain validation documentation throughout the system lifecycle.
• Support audit and inspection readiness activities.
