Job summary

Catalyx is seeking a Lab Systems Integration Specialist to join our team and work on our customer site in Cork. The role is hybrid and will support the Quality Control Lab Services Team in ensuring reliability and compliance of laboratory systems.

Responsibilities include integrating laboratory systems, documenting processes, and supporting validation and risk assessments while collaborating with internal teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience in GMP, regulated or manufacturing environments is highly desirable.
• Exposure to QC laboratory systems is useful.
• Project-based experience is beneficial.
• Attention to detail is very important.
• Willingness to understand and follow complex non-intuitive processes is essential.
• Good communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• A Level 8 degree in Engineering, IT, Science, Mathematics, Business or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Organise and implement integration of laboratory systems, including apps, OS, data management, backups and interfaces.
• Author, review and approve detailed documentation for laboratory systems.
• Support validation of laboratory systems.
• Participate in risk assessments for laboratory systems and projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors and stakeholders across functions.
• Manage activities across multiple short and long-term projects with changing priorities.
• Work in accordance with data integrity and regulatory requirements including 21 CFR Part 11 and Annex 11.
