Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group in Ireland is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant (Bar) to provide friendly, efficient service to hotel guests. You will receive training through our Dalata Academy to help you learn important skills and grow with the team.

The role includes evenings and weekends; you’ll upsell, maintain knowledge of food and wine, and work in a fast-paced high-volume bar environment within our hotels.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours as the role includes evenings and weekends.
• Previous experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros experience would be preferable.

Responsibilities

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Served guests with food and beverage.

Skills
