Job summary

Hawksmoor Dublin is looking for a Restaurant Host to welcome guests, manage reservations and seating, and support the floor team in a busy, guest-facing setting. This role emphasizes warm, generous hospitality and clear communication with managers, kitchen, and floor staff.

Qualifications

• Friendly and confident with people.
• Able to work in a busy restaurant.
• Willing to learn; hospitality experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and confidently on arrival.
• Manage reservations, walk-ins and waiting lists during service.
• Seat guests and manage the flow of the restaurant to support smooth service.
• Oversee cloakroom and guest arrivals during busy periods.
• Communicate clearly with managers, floor teams and the kitchen.
• Support the floor team by helping set and reset tables and assist service when needed.
• Handle guest enquiries in person, by phone and email with care and professionalism.
