Job summary

Hawksmoor Dublin is seeking a friendly, customer‑facing Restaurant Host to welcome guests, manage reservations and guide the dining journey from arrival to seating. You will coordinate with the floor team to ensure smooth service and deliver warm hospitality that reflects Hawksmoor’s standards.

In this role you’ll be part of a close-knit team, thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high guest care. Training is provided, with opportunities for development across service excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest-facing roles preferred.
• Ability to handle reservations and guest queries with care.
• Excellent communication and personable approach.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and confidently on arrival.
• Manage reservations, walk-ins and waiting lists during service.
• Seat guests and manage restaurant flow for smooth service.
• Oversee cloakroom and guest arrivals during busy periods.
• Communicate clearly with managers, floor teams and kitchen.
• Support the floor team by setting and resetting tables as needed.
• Handle guest enquiries in person, by phone and email with professionalism.
