Job summary

Provincial Security Services in Dublin 2 is seeking a motivated GSOC Operator to join our Global Security Operations Centre team. You will monitor alarms and video systems, answer routine and emergency calls, and dispatch security personnel to incidents, domestically and internationally.

The role emphasizes analytical thinking, strong communication, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment. PSA licenced candidates with control room experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• PSA licence required and prior control room experience essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer routine and emergency alarm calls.
• Monitor alarms and video equipment including fire, door and duress alarms.
• Provide general assistance to employees and guests.
• Maintain and enhance security and safety; support client operations.
• Conduct investigations and analysis on incidents.
• Dispatch security officers and EMS personnel as required.
• Maintain records of communications and events.
• Gather information from internal and external resources for events.
• Disseminate information to key partners using established channels.
• Support daily operations on a global basis.
• Act as liaison between Physical Security and stakeholders.
• Escalate critical information to GSOC Lead promptly.
