Job summary

Pinkerton is seeking a Lead GSOC Analyst in Cork, Ireland to oversee 24/7/365 security monitoring for a key client. You will supervise junior analysts, coordinate incident response, and ensure seamless operation of the client’s security program from our Cork GSOC.

Responsibilities include real-time monitoring, travel risk assessments, access control oversight, and producing detailed activity logs and reports to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in security operations or GSOC
• Experience in incident management and event monitoring
• CPP/PSP certifications desirable
• Ability to lead and mentor junior analysts
• Excellent written and verbal reporting

Responsibilities

• Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
• Operate the GSOC in shift patterns as required.
• Provide a high level of service to local and remote client sites and staff with an emphasis on security and safety of client’s staff, assets, and information.
• Monitor and analyze security alarms, notifications, and surveillance systems in real-time to detect and assess potential security incidents.
• Conduct advanced level event security monitoring and provide timely incident response according to SOPs.
• Coordinate travel and journey management by assessing travel risks and providing real-time alerts.
• Oversee access control operations to ensure only authorised personnel access sensitive areas.
• Maintain detailed logs and records of all monitored activities, incidents, and responses.
• Assist in preparing in-depth reports on GSOC activities and identifying trends or improvements.
• Lead and mentor Junior GSOC Analysts, provide guidance and support to enhance their skills.
• Participate in regular training and development sessions to stay updated on latest security trends and practices.
• Support the GSOC Manager with additional tasks and responsibilities as required.
• Maintain awareness of monitored environment to promote safe working.
• Maintain proactive approach to achieve high standards.
• All other duties as assigned.
