Job summary

Securitas Ireland is seeking Security Officers to maintain a safe and welcoming environment at client sites in Dublin. You will monitor access, patrol premises, and respond to alarms, providing excellent customer service while enforcing security protocols.

New to the industry? This could be the role for you. Roles are full-time with flexible scheduling across days, nights, and weekends. PSA licence and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• PSA Licence is required.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including nights and weekends.
• Fluent English essential.
• Good level of PC skills.
• Previous experience desirable.
• Must have excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Manual handling - desirable.
• Own transport desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to client premises, ensuring only authorized personnel are admitted.
• Carry out regular patrols and inspections to deter and detect suspicious activity.
• Respond swiftly to alarms and emergencies, acting decisively and calmly.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a strong security presence.
• Write clear, accurate incident reports and maintain security logs.
• Operate security systems and surveillance equipment as required.
• Ensure compliance with site-specific procedures and protocols.
