Carton House, A Fairmont Managed Hotel, invites applications for a Groups, Conference and Events Sales Executive. The role focuses on coordinating conferences, meetings and private events, building client relationships and driving sales within a luxury five-star setting.

Based in Maynooth, you will work with our Sales & Marketing team, ensuring flawless event delivery, strong client communication, and successful cross-sell of services and F&B opportunities.

Formación

• Experience in a sales or events role with strong client-facing skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple events and contracts simultaneously.
• Awareness of hotel operations and event logistics is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and deliver conferences, meetings and private events for clients.
• Produce detailed function sheets and liaise with operations to ensure flawless delivery.
• Maintain and develop relationships with new and existing clients.
• Handle operational and administrative tasks to ensure projects run smoothly.
• Provide outstanding customer service and ensure high-quality experiences.
• Collaborate with the sales team and senior management to meet hotel goals.

We are currently recruiting a Groups, Conference and Events Sales Executive to join our Sales & Marketing team at Carton House.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with clients to oversee the development, coordination and delivery of conferences, meetings and private events.
• To produce detailed function sheets for each event and to send out in a timely fashion - to then work in collaboration with our operations team to ensure the delivery of the event exceeds our client's expectations.
• To communicate, maintain and develop new and existing client relationships.
• Manage operational and administrative functions to ensure specific projects are delivered efficiently.
• Ensuring excellent customer service and quality of service at all times.
• To work as part of the sales team; to contribute to & assist senior management in promoting hotel goals.
• Ensure there is fluid communication of all events to all hotel departments.
• To promote sell-up opportunity, cross-sell of F&B outlets as appropriate.

Key Requirements

• Have a real understanding of hotel operations and specifically Conference and Events.
• 1-2 years experience in a similar role.
• Passion, energy, enthusiasm.
• The ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Strong communication, negotiation and contract management skills.
• Knowledge of Opera ideal but not essential.
• Previous 4/5* hotel experience.
• A structured and organized approach to work planning
