Job summary

The Metropole Hotel Cork is seeking a full-time Central Reservations Agent for the Cork Airport Hotel’s Central Reservations Office. Based on site in Cork, you’ll assist guests with enquiries and bookings across Trigon Hotels’ portfolio, delivering friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll work with colleagues to meet revenue targets, understand promotions and packages, and gain training in hotel PMS systems.

Qualifications

• Full-time Central Reservations Agent role at Cork Airport Hotel.
• Organised person who enjoys learning in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a call centre or hotel reservations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service for clients at enquiry stage and beyond for all properties within Trigon Hotels
• Handle reservation queries to ensure accurate details are recorded
• Help the team achieve forecasted revenue targets
• Understand promotions, packages, and relevant information
• Communicate with Hotels promptly and accurately; PMS systems training provided

Description of Role:

We are looking for a full-time Central Reservations Agent to join the Trigon Hotel Group’s Central Reservations Office based in the Cork Airport Hotel in Cork. This role will suit an organised person who enjoys learning and working in a fast-paced environment.The role be part of a team within an office environment. You will work with colleagues, team member and managers to achieve department and organisational goals.

Main Duties Include:

• Provide exceptional customer service for clients at enquiry stage and beyond for all properties within Trigon Hotels
• Handle all reservation queries as per the company’s mystery shopper standard making sure all relevant questions are asked to ensure accurate reservation details are recorded
• As a team achieve forecasted revenue targets for the organisation.
• Understanding of all promotions, packages, and pertinent information
• Good communication skills, ensuring all requests and queries from the Hotels are dealt with in a timely and accurate manner.
• Understanding of Hotel PMS Systems, however full training will be provided.
• A good working knowledge of word, excel, outlook.
• Previous experience in a call centre or hotel reservations role.
• Good Customer Service Skills
• Organised and ability to work to deadlines with strong attention to detail.
