Job summary

Luzern eCommerce is seeking an experienced Group HR Manager to own the HR function across Ireland, the UK and Spain. Reporting directly to the CFO and supported by an HR Generalist, this is a senior, hands-on role covering the full employee lifecycle.

You will work closely with managers and leaders, providing practical HR advice and ensuring compliant, high-performing people practices while leading on change and governance. This is an operational leadership role in a lean HR team.

Qualifications

• Operational HR generalist at Manager/Senior level.
• Experience with full employee lifecycle.
• Strong employee relations and performance management experience.
• Knowledge of Irish employment law; UK law experience advantageous.
• Experience supporting organisational change, restructuring and capability building.
• Workforce planning across permanent, contract and outsourced models.
• Commercial judgement balancing employee, business and cost considerations.
• Ability to work with senior leadership and own complex issues.
• Experience with HR technology, automation or AI to improve processes.
• Multi-jurisdiction / international HR experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HR function across Ireland, the UK and Spain.
• Provide practical, commercially focused HR advice to managers and senior leaders.
• Manage complex employee relations matters including performance and disciplinary issues.
• Coach managers on people management and performance.
• Own HR policies, employment documentation, processes and systems.
• Drive performance management and targeted Learning & Development initiatives.
• Lead workforce planning and resourcing.
• Oversee recruitment activity and work with external partners.
• Support organisational change, restructuring and role realignment.
• Maintain HR governance and audit readiness.
• Work with Finance on headcount planning, compensation and costs.
• Use workforce data to drive improvements and identify AI opportunities.
• Lead and develop the HR Generalist.
