Job summary

Noel Group is recruiting a Group Financial Controller for an international Healthcare company with offices in South Dublin. Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee day-to-day finance operations, strengthen financial controls across the Irish business and drive process improvements.

Ideal candidates will have a recognised accountancy qualification, at least 5 years senior accounting experience in a multi-site organisation, and reside within commuting distance of South County Dublin.

• Accountancy qualification by a recognised body.
• 5 years senior accounting experience in a multi-site organisation.
• Stable work history showing progression and achievement in previous roles.
• Living in a commuting distance of south county Dublin.

Responsibilities

• Leading financial control and reporting, ensuring IFRS/FRS102 compliance.
• Managing and improving tight financial controls across the group with multiple branches.
• Lead systems and process improvements to maximise existing systems.
• Cash flow, working capital, audit, tax and compliance.
• Strategic projects including due diligence and supporting potential acquisitions through financial analysis.

We are recruiting a Group Financial Controller, on behalf of our client, an international Healthcare company with offices in South Dublin.

Reporting to the CFO, the role will involve day to day management of the finance function and specifically managing and continuous improvements of financial controls within the Irish business.

The role would be a very good opportunity for a Senior Accountant stepping into a Financial Controller role or someone with a couple of years at FC level and has multi-site experience.

Key responsibilities:

• Leading financial control and reporting, ensuing compliance with IFRS/FRS102.
• Managing and improving tight financial controls across the group, which consists of multiple branches.
• Lead systems and process improvement, making the most out of the use of existing systems
• Cash flow, working capital, audit, tax and compliance
• Strategic projects including due diligence and supporting potential acquisitions through financial analysis

Minimum requirements

• Accountancy qualification by a recognised by a recognised body
• 5 years senior accounting experience in a multi-site organisation
• Stable work history showing progression and achievement in previous roles
• Living in a commuting distance of south county Dublin
