Job summary

Morgan McKinley is partnering with a leading PLC to appoint a Group Financial Controller. This senior leadership role offers significant exposure to the CFO and Executive Team, with responsibility for leading the Group reporting function and driving financial control across a complex international business.

You will lead statutory and external reporting, manage the audit process, own monthly consolidation and reporting, strengthen controls, and drive finance transformation.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification with Big 4 training preferred.
• 5+ years' PQE in Group Finance within a multinational or PLC environment.
• Strong IFRS, consolidations and statutory reporting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Group's statutory and external financial reporting with full IFRS compliance.
• Manage the Group audit process and oversee subsidiary statutory reporting.
• Own the monthly Group consolidation and management reporting process.
• Maintain a strong financial control environment, including balance sheet governance and internal controls.
• Drive finance transformation, process improvement and reporting automation.
• Partner with Treasury, Tax, FP&A and Finance teams across the business.
• Support acquisitions, including due diligence, acquisition accounting and integration.
• Lead and develop a high-performing Group Reporting team.
• Deliver financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

About You

• Experience managing external audits and strengthening financial controls.
• Strong systems knowledge (SAP, SAP BPC or similar desirable).
• Proven people leadership experience with excellent stakeholder management skills.
