Cpl Group is seeking a Group Financial Accountant for a high-profile employer in the Shannon region. This permanent role offers a clear path to advance within a growing finance function. You will work closely with the Finance Manager and cover a broad remit across group accounting and finance.

Key duties include consolidated management accounts, balance sheet review, budgeting, forecasting, and assisting on audits and compliance. A 3rd level accounting qualification and ACA/ACCA are preferred.

Competenze

• 3rd level qualified in a relevant discipline.
• Fully qualified accountant - ACA or ACCA preferred.
• 2-3+ years industry experience ideally; Big4 background may be considered.
• Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications.
• Excellent attention to detail & inter-personal skills.
• Proven ability to work on your own initiative & lead/mentor junior colleagues.

Group Financial Accountant

Our client, a high profile & major employer in the Shannon region, are now expanding their finance function & have engaged with us in Cpl to help them recruit a Group Financial Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis.

The Job

As a key part of the finance team team you will work closely with the Finance Manager & cover a broad remit of duties across all aspects of group accounting & finance.

More specifically this will include the preparation of the monthly consolidated management accounts, reviewing balance sheet recs, analysing financial performance across diverse units, preparing relevant forecasts, coordinating group budgets, assisting on audit & compliance reporting, preparing tax returns, leading out your individual projects & providing support to management teams.

Your Skills/Experience that we need

• 3rd level qualified in a relevant discipline ideally.
• Fully qualified accountant - ACA or ACCA preferred.
• 2-3+ years industry experience ideally but candidates with a strong Big4 type audit/practice profile may also be considered.
• Excellent IT skills including a high level of ability in all Microsoft applications.
• Excellent attention to detail & inter-personal skills.

The Offer

Salary will depend on candidate skills & experience but is expected to range between 60-68k + benefits.

This role will be fully office based initially but expected to move to hybrid after training/onboarding.

Candidates must hold full rights to live & work in Ireland.
