The Role

We're looking for a qualified Group Finance Manager to join our Group Finance team and take ownership of group financial reporting. You'll lead and streamline the monthly consolidation process, manage preparation of annual group financial statements, and work with our Group Financial Controller, Strategy & Tax teams to advise on transactions that will shape the future of our business.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced qualified accountant with strong technical grounding in IFRS who wants to step into a leadership role within a fast-moving, internationally diversified group – collaborating with our experienced financial reporting team.

As the role evolves, we are looking for the candidate to proactively explore and embed AI solutions to simplify workflows, improve productivity and create capacity for higher-value activities.

Attendance at the Head Office in Kerry will be required on an occasional basis, as necessary.

Technical Accounting & Transactions

  • Research, document and advise on the accounting treatment for new and complex transactions, and assess the impact of new accounting standards on the group.

  • Own and maintain group accounting policies, ensuring consistent application and providing technical guidance across subsidiaries.

Leadership & Business Partnering

  • Build and manage strong working relationships with Legal, Company Secretarial, Tax, Treasury and international Business Partner teams to ensure financial reporting reflects the full commercial picture.

  • Lead initiatives to strengthen financial controls and improve financial reporting systems and processes across the group.

  • Provide clear, well-supported analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholders to aid decision-making.

  • Support the development of junior team members within the overall Finance Team.

Standard Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) trained in either a top-tier practice or large multinational.

  • Post-qualification experience in group financial reporting and multi-entity consolidation, ideally within a multinational or similar group structure.

  • Strong working knowledge of IFRS, with hands-on experience of group accounting for business combinations.

  • Proven experience managing year-end statutory audits and the external auditor relationship.

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail, balanced with the ability to see the bigger picture.

  • Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with stakeholders across finance and non-finance teams.

  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with consolidation or ERP systems (e.g. HFM, Oracle, or similar) is a plus.

  • Highly organised, able to manage competing deadlines during busy reporting cycles.

  • A proactive, curious mindset with a genuine interest in continuous improvement including pushing AI and automation first.

What We Offer

  • Flexible remote or hybrid working arrangements.

  • A genuinely diverse, international business with real cross-border exposure.

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.

  • Career development within a financially strong, growing group.

  • A collaborative, values-led culture built on Inclusivity, Curiosity, Integrity and Accountability.
