Vickerstock in North Dublin is seeking a Group Engineering Stores & Parts Coordinator to manage engineering spare parts and inventory across multiple sites, ensuring essential components are available and costs are controlled.

The role supports maintenance and production operations, coordinating with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, Procurement and Finance to standardise stock-control processes and reporting across the group.

Qualificações

• Experience in engineering stores within manufacturing.
• Strong Excel and stock-control experience.
• Good supplier management and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate engineering stores, spare parts and inventory across multiple sites.
• Maintain accurate stock records, locations and reorder levels.
• Manage purchasing of engineering parts and maintenance consumables.
• Build supplier relationships, compare quotations and negotiate where appropriate.
• Manage critical spares to ensure essential components are available.
• Support planned maintenance, shutdowns and emergency breakdowns.
• Identify excess, obsolete and duplicate stock to improve inventory efficiency.
• Maintain accurate inventory and purchasing system data.
• Standardise stock-control processes and reporting across the Group.
• Monitor supplier performance, purchasing costs and stock accuracy.
• Work closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, Procurement and Finance.
• Ensure stores operate in line with health, safety and food safety requirements.

Vickerstock are currently recruiting for a Group Engineering Stores & Parts Coordinator on behalf of a well-established food manufacturing group.

This is a group-wide role responsible for managing engineering spare parts, inventory control and technical purchasing across multiple sites. You will play a key role in ensuring critical parts are available when needed, controlling costs and improving inventory processes to support efficient maintenance and production operations.

The Role

• Coordinate engineering stores, spare parts and inventory across multiple sites
• Maintain accurate stock records, storage locations and reorder levels
• Manage purchasing of engineering parts and maintenance consumables
• Build supplier relationships, compare quotations and negotiate where appropriate
• Manage critical spares to ensure essential components are available when needed
• Support planned maintenance, shutdowns and emergency breakdowns
• Identify excess, obsolete and duplicate stock to improve inventory efficiency
• Maintain accurate inventory and purchasing system data
• Standardise stock-control processes and reporting across the Group

Criteria

• Experience in engineering stores, stock control, technical purchasing or procurement within manufacturing
• Strong inventory management and purchasing skills
• Experience using stock-control, purchasing or maintenance systems
• Good Microsoft Excel skills and strong attention to detail
• Strong supplier management and communication skills
