Barden | B Corp is seeking a Group Accounting Manager to own group consolidation and IFRS accounting for a global Irish business. You will report to a Group Financial Controller and partner with Strategy, M&A and Commercial teams while taking ownership of group accounting policy and controls.

The role offers flexible working arrangements (fully remote or hybrid) and the chance to influence group-wide projects, with a strong commercial focus and opportunities to mentor junior team members.

Qualifikationen

We are delighted to be working with a global Irish business to identify a Group Accounting Manager. This opportunity has a lot to offer: a growing business, a close-knit team, great flexibility, and the chance to take ownership of consolidation for the group.

This is a technical role with real variety beyond the usual month-end and year-end activities. You will be responsible for group consolidation and technical accounting, with a strong commercial side, partnering with Strategy, M&A, and Commercial teams. There is also the opportunity to get involved in group-wide projects, the business is adopting new ways of working through AI and automation.

You will report to an impressive Group Financial Controller with extensive knowledge of the business. There is huge flexibility on offer, this role can be fully remote or on a hybrid basis .This will suit someone technically strong who enjoys variety, likes the commercial side of finance, and has plenty of energy to bring to the team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Responsibilities will include:

• Ownership of the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated results for the group, in line with IFRS
• Preparation of the annual group financial statements
• Main point of contact for technical accounting queries across the group
• Advising on the accounting treatment of new and complex transactions and the impact of new standards
• Ownership of group accounting policies, guiding subsidiaries on consistent application
• Leading improvements to financial controls, systems, and processes, and giving senior stakeholders clear analysis to support decisions
• Supporting the development of junior team members in the wider Finance team

ABOUT THE PERSON

You will have:

• Strong technical accounting skills, ideally with some IFRS knowledge.
• Experience of group consolidation, ideally across multiple entities.
• Good commercial awareness and the confidence to partner with senior stakeholders.
• A positive attitude and plenty of energy.
