Job summary

TOM People is seeking a Financial Accountant to join a growing finance team in Ireland. This is a newly created role aimed at supporting growth and delivering high-quality financial reporting.

The position offers a hybrid work model with three days in the office in South Dublin, ideal for an early-career accounting professional ready to contribute across the finance function.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with 0-2 years PQE.
• Big 4 or Top 10 trained with non-FS clients.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong systems experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual group financial reporting.
• Support the group consolidation process.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and coordinate external audits.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with strengthening financial controls, processes and reporting.
• Partner with stakeholders to provide financial insight and analysis.
• Support strategic finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual group financial reporting
• Supporting the group consolidation process
• Preparation of statutory financial statements and coordination of external audits

• Assisting with the enhancement of financial controls, processes and reporting capabilities
• Partnering with stakeholders across the business to provide financial insight and analysis
• Supporting strategic finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives

ABOUT THE PERSON:

• Qualified accountant with 0-2 years PQE
• Big 4 or Top 10 trained with non-FS clients
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders
• Proactive, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities
• Advanced Excel skills and strong systems experience preferred

Based in South Dublin, hybrid working 3 days per week in office.
