Job summary

AECOM in Ireland invites graduates to join our Traffic Engineering Teams, gaining hands-on experience across UK & Ireland projects. You will work with engineers on live schemes, contribute to traffic modelling, road design, and multimodal planning while developing practical solutions.

From day one you will be paired with a mentor, receive training on Autocad/Civils3D, LINSIG, TRANSYT and VISSIM, and rotate between projects to build a broad foundation in road safety, urban design and transport

Qualifications

Enthusiastic, hard-working individuals with ambition and drive.
Basic computer skills on Word and Excel are essential.
Good report writing skills are beneficial.

Responsibilities

Pair with an experienced engineer to guide you through live projects.
Training on software tools such as AutoCAD/Civil 3D and traffic modelling tools (LINSIG, TRANSYT, VISSIM).
Assist in developing designs through stages, attending client meetings and workshops.
As you grow, take on more responsibility managing projects from inception to completion.
Use BIM modelling programmes on a variety of projects including road and streetscape work.
