Qualifications

• Honours Bachelor Degree (Level 8) in electrical or electronic engineering.
• Graduated within the past two years or currently in the final year of university.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.
• Demonstrated knowledge of electronics, with strong technical problem‑solving skills and familiarity with LabVIEW, C or C++.
• Knowledge of validation processes within the medical device industry would be an advantage.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills and a proactive approach to learning.
• Interest in medical technology, manufacturing, product development or continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the Test Engineering team to support manufacturing operations for implantable medical devices.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and support resolution of quality and manufacturing issues.
• Perform device failure analysis to identify root causes at the component level for implantable electronic medical devices.
• Work with internal and external software developers to implement improvements to software applications and systems.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to improve product quality, lean manufacturing performance and test system efficiency.
• Perform testing, analyze data, prepare technical reports and execute validation activities.
• Apply data analysis and technical problem‑solving skills using standard applications and tracking systems.
• Prepare clear and accurate technical documentation and support regulatory submissions.
