Boston Scientific is seeking a highly motivated Graduate Electronic Engineer to join the Clonmel team for a defined-term 23-month assignment. You will support the Active Implantable R&D group in designing and validating electronic circuits for life-enhancing medical devices, with hands-on PCB development, schematic capture and hardware integration.

Qualifications

• Honours Bachelor Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Graduated within the past two years or in final year of university.
• Eligible to work in Ireland.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Interest in medical technology and product development.

Responsibilities

• Maintain quality by applying medical device design controls and development processes.
• Assist design, development and testing of electrical circuits for active implantable devices.
• Support schematic capture, circuit simulation, PCB development and component selection.
• Collaborate with Systems, Software, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality and Regulatory teams.
• Document test methods and results and participate in design reviews.
