Job summary

Boston Scientific Ireland seeks a Graduate Quality Engineer for a defined-term 23-month programme in Clonmel. You will contribute to quality across operations, new product development or sustaining engineering while learning from experienced colleagues to advance medical technologies.

You will apply Six Sigma, Lean principles and data analysis to improve processes, support regulatory requirements and help ensure quality throughout product life cycles.

Qualifications

• Hons Bachelor Degree (Level 8) in engineering or science is essential.
• Graduated within the past two years or currently in the final year of university.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Build quality into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance with quality requirements.
• Assist in defining and implementing quality standards and specifications and help ensure regulatory requirements are met.
• Identify and resolve moderately complex exceptions to work assignments.
• Participate in new product and technology transfers to gain valuable experience.
• Apply Six Sigma, statistical analysis and Lean principles to investigate and improve quality.
• Demonstrate familiarity with validation techniques and regulatory requirements including customer feedback analysis.
• Understand and proactively support environmental management requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support day-to-day operating requirements.
• Demonstrate best practices aligned with department and site objectives.
