Boston Scientific Ireland invites applications for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer on a defined-term 23-month basis in Clonmel. You will learn from experienced engineers while contributing to medical device design, testing, and verification in a regulated environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem-solving, CAD modelling, and collaboration across Systems, Electrical, Software, Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory teams.

Qualificações

• Honours Bachelor Degree (Level 8) in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Graduated within the past two years or in final year of study.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland; co-op/internship exposure is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Support design and development of mechanical components and assemblies for medical devices.
• Assist creation/modification of 3D CAD models and drawings.
• Support material selection, tolerance analysis, and design for manufacture/assembly.
• Assist prototype development, product builds and concept evaluation.
• Participate in mechanical characterization, troubleshooting, and performance evaluations.
• Assist verification testing and documentation of test methods/results.
• Support risk management and design mitigations.
• Participate in design reviews with cross-functional teams.
• Learn medical device design controls and product development processes.
