Job summary

Flynn invites you to join its Technical Services Graduate Programme, gaining hands-on experience on live projects across Ireland, the UK and Europe. You will be part of a project team, learning how building services are coordinated on site and how your work supports project delivery.

This 12-month programme blends structured learning, mentoring and feedback to build practical technical knowledge, safety awareness and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Recent or upcoming graduate with a third-level qualification in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Willingness to learn, ask questions and get involved is essential.
• Good communication, attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality and teamwork.
• Structured learning, mentoring and site-based experience are provided during the Graduate Programme.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordination of mechanical, electrical, public health and structural works across live projects.
• Support review and tracking of drawings, technical submittals, samples, approvals and documentation.
• Help project teams keep information, approvals and site activity aligned.
• Participate in project, technical services and health and safety meetings as required.
• Support installation progress, testing, commissioning, handover and close-out activities.
• Build strong working relationships with colleagues, subcontractors and project teams.
• Take direction, ask questions and contribute positively to project delivery.

Who we are looking for

• A recent or upcoming graduate with a third‑level qualification in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Previous site experience is helpful but not essential; what matters most is a willingness to learn, ask questions and get involved.
• A curious, motivated person who enjoys problem‑solving, being on site and working as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, attention to detail and a commitment to safety, quality and teamwork.
• A proactive approach to learning, development and building positive working relationships.
