Job summary

Flynn is offering a 12-month Technical Services Graduate Programme to kickstart your career in building services across Ireland, the UK and Europe. You will join a project team on live sites, gaining hands-on experience and structured learning with regular feedback.

You will learn how mechanical, electrical, public health and structural works are coordinated, reviewed and documented, with strong mentoring and career development support.

Responsibilities

• Assist coordination of mechanical, electrical, public health and structural works on live projects.
• Support review and tracking of drawings, submittals, samples and documentation.
• Help keep information and site activity aligned across teams.
• Participate in project, technical services and health and safety meetings.
• Support testing, commissioning, handover and close-out activities.
• Build strong working relationships with colleagues and subcontractors.
• Take direction and contribute to successful project delivery.

What you will do

• Assist with the coordination of mechanical, electrical, public health and structural works across live projects.
• Support the review and tracking of drawings, technical submittals, samples, approvals and project documentation.
• Help project teams keep information, approvals and site activity aligned.
• Participate in project, technical services and health and safety meetings as required.
• Support installation progress, testing, commissioning, handover and project close-out activities.
• Build strong working relationships with colleagues, subcontractors and project teams.
• Take direction, ask questions and contribute positively to successful project delivery.

Who we are looking for

• A recent or upcoming graduate with a third-level qualification in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• Previous site experience is helpful but not essential; what matters most is a willingness to learn, ask questions and get involved.
• A curious, motivated person who enjoys problem-solving, being on site and working as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, attention to detail and a commitment to safety, quality and teamwork.
• A proactive approach to learning, development and building positive working relationships.
