Job summary

Arup is seeking a Graduate Rail Engineer in Ireland to support the design, development and delivery of rail infrastructure. You will contribute to analysis, 3D modelling, and coordination across disciplines to deliver sustainable transport solutions.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Railway Engineering, with limited full-time experience. The role emphasizes collaboration, learning, and impact on mobility and communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Level 8 or above) or studying towards a Master's degree or PhD.
• Degrees in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Railway Engineering preferred.
• No more than 12 months of full-time experience in a comparable role.
• Recently graduated or on track to graduate before employment starts.

Responsibilities

• Support Permanent Way design team with data analysis and design calculations.
• Produce project drawings, 3D modelling, and coordinate interfaces.
• Assist drafting specifications, proposals, investigations and reports.
• Support cross-disciplinary work to deliver integrated designs.
