Job summary

Arup is seeking a Graduate Bridge & Civil Structures Engineer to work with experienced engineers on challenging projects in Ireland. You will develop technical, digital and professional skills, supporting analysis and design of bridges and civil infrastructure across the design lifecycle.

You will assist in producing calculations, reports, and BIM deliverables, while collaborating with highways, rail, geotechnical and environmental specialists. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Interest in bridge engineering and civil structures.
• Understanding of structural analysis and design principles.
• Knowledge of steel and concrete materials and composites.

Responsibilities

• Support analysis and design of bridges, retaining structures, and infrastructure.
• Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, and design documentation.
• Develop structural models and perform assessments using industry software.
• Contribute to sustainable, resilient infrastructure design.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate BIM deliverables.
• Assist in site visits, inspections and construction support.
