Arup is seeking a Graduate Rail Engineer in Ireland to join our rail team for exciting transport projects and the DART+ Coastal initiative. You will support design, analysis, 3D modelling and documentation across disciplines to deliver sustainable infrastructure.

Ideal candidates hold a Level 8 degree in civil/ mechanical or railway related fields and show strong communication skills. The role offers a collaborative environment with flexible working arrangements and professional growth

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (Level 8+) or studying towards Master’s/PhD in Civil, Mechanical, Railway, Transportation or Structural Engineering.
Interest in a career in Rail and sustainable transport.
Detail oriented with good written and verbal communication; ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

Support Permanent Way design with data analysis, design calculations, and project drawings (3D modelling).
Assist drafting of specifications, technical proposals and investigations and prepare reports.
Support cross-disciplinary work to deliver integrated designs using latest software tools and techniques.
Contribute creativity to applying best practices in design.
