Global Professional Consultants is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join its busy residential projects team in Dundalk. This entry-level role offers exposure to all QS activities on multiple developments, combining office and site-based work.

You will support cost reporting, subcontractor administration, and procurement while learning from senior commercial staff in a well-established developer. A degree in QS is required.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related construction discipline.
• Placement or internship experience desirable; graduates considered.
• Exposure to residential construction desirable.
• Strong numerical, analytical and commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• Full driving licence required.

Graduate Quantity Surveyor – Residential Projects

A leading residential developer is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Quantity Surveying graduate to begin their career within a well-established and highly regarded developer delivering high-quality residential projects across Dundalk.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior commercial staff, gaining exposure to all aspects of quantity surveying on residential construction projects. The role offers a combination of office and site-based experience, supporting the delivery of multiple residential developments throughout Dundalk.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of project cost reports, valuations, and commercial documentation.


• Support the management and administration of subcontractor accounts.


• Assist in the preparation and assessment of subcontractor payment applications.


• Monitor project costs and help identify commercial risks and opportunities.


• Assist with the preparation and agreement of variations and final accounts.

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related construction discipline.


• Previous work placement or internship experience gained during college is desirable, although graduates with no industry experience will also be considered.


• Previous exposure to residential construction projects is desirable.


• Strong numerical, analytical, and commercial awareness skills.


• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.


• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.


• Full driving licence required.
