Job summary

The successful candidate will join the Technical team as a junior member on a structured two-year Graduate Programme in Shannon. You will develop core technical and commercial skills through involvement in managing the company’s engine fleet, liaising with customers on technical matters, obtaining and updating technical records, and providing technical support to other departments within the organisation.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering, or qualified aircraft/powerplant engineer status with an EASA/FAA Part 145 company approval for a commercial turbofan engine.

Responsibilities

  • Asset Management: Assist the team with monitoring engine assets on lease, in repair or in storage, liaising with customers, engine manufacturers, MRO facilities, aviation authorities and external agencies on delivery, redelivery, inspections, maintenance, warranty, shipping and storage.
  • Project Management: Support lease delivery and redelivery activity, off-lease storage, transportation, maintenance planning, and cost control for assigned engine assets.
  • Technical Records Management: Collate, review and archive engine technical records packages to ensure full traceability and compliance with aviation authority requirements.
  • Maintain Technical Databases: Update databases for engine types, focusing on the engine management system, airworthiness directive requirements, service bulletins, and maintenance costs and intervals.
  • Regional Office Secondment: Participate in a secondment to a regional office to gain exposure to local market activity and support regional operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Technical Manager and CTO.
